Recently I was called away suddenly on family business to my hometown of Milford, NH, USA. The only camera I brought was the one built-in to my Motorola Razr smartphone. Still, I wanted to capture some of the small town ambiance. Much of the area is now second-growth forest, as agriculture moved to the midwest, resulting in many scenic natural areas. One such is Purgatory Falls. The reminders of former days of farming, in the form of stone walls, and industry, in the form of remnants of dams, lends additional poignancy to the area.
